Bookstore Alley in Bosu-dong

This place may look ordinary but it played a role in Korea's history.
With me loving historic places +  a love affair with books, I have to check this place out.

A Peanutty September

The reason why the Laagholic Buyog wasn't able to travel much this year. :D
After my photo safari in Batanes & a river cruise in Aloguinsan, only did foodtrips after.

Torta og Uban Pa sa Catmon

Another reason to drop by the town of Catmon in Cebu is for Torta Ug Uban Pa goodies.

When you are craving for torta but is in somewhere north, then go visit them.
Their version of torta is not greasy compared to Argao's.
Actually, their version is kind of a hybrid of torta+mamon.

Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavillion)

Kinkakuji (金閣寺, Golden Pavilion) is a Zen temple in northern Kyoto whose top two floors are completely covered in gold leaf. Formally known as Rokuonji, the temple was the retirement villa of the shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu, and according to his will it became a Zen temple of the Rinzai sect after his death in 1408. Kinkakuji was the inspiration for the similarly named Ginkakuji (Silver Pavilion), built by Yoshimitsu's grandson, Ashikaga Yoshimasa, on the other side of the city a few decades later.

Native Chicken Carenderia in Catmon

Sometime late last year, we get to eat here after distributing baby & toddler stuffs to Yolanda victims in Cebu North.

It is still so vivid on my mind how Catmon's native chicken warmed our starving tummies.

My pizza-with-no-name at Pizza Republic

I've been to one republic after the other... from Ribpublic to Pizza Republic! whehehe!

Pizza Republic, I think, is the first ever to have a "make-your-own" pizza concept here in Cebu.

Ribbin' at Ribpublic Diner

Since the name Ribpublic, I was expecting they'll offer quite a few ribs on their menu.
But maybe because they just opened early last month, they only have one.
I hope they'll add more.

Once Upon a Japanese Visa Time

Long before the news on the planned visa-free entry for Filipino tourists, visa is being required upon entry.

Not too long ago (Nov 2013), I visited beautiful Japan as part of our honeymoon trip.
We stayed there for 10days.
So how did I get my tourist visa from Cebu?
