Happily TRICKed!

Trick Eye Museum is also called as Trompe l'oeil Museum.
Trompe l'oeil means an art designed to trick the eye.

The first known use of trompe l'oeil, as legend would have it, dates back to ancient Greece, in the fifth century BC, when the artist Zeuxis painted a bunch of grapes so realistic that a bird flew down to peck at them. (Source: www.france24.com)

I willingly submit myself to be tricked that day.
And I am happy with the result. lol

Seoul's TRICK-EYE MUSEUM made the child in me go crazy.

Can't put into words how happy I am.
I'll just let the photos do the talking.

Upon entering...

But I need money for 15,000 won entrance fee..
Thanks for the money!
I can now buy the ticket.

Got my tag now. Hehehe!

Is this the door?

Wag po, Kuya!

What have you done, Cupid?

Head on a plate.
no. Head on a table. :D

Aw! Aw!
Photo frame ang wosh!
I believe I can fly.
Time is Gold!
Kiss my butt cheek!

Don't worry when you're visiting the museum alone.
There are museum staff stationed almost at every painting.
They are super ready to help you out & take your photo.

On the floor, there are markers where to take the best photo angle of the painting.

Aside from its name Trick-Eye Museum, finding it is a bit tricky too.
Good thing we have Korean friends with us.
