IRIE Gastropubliko

I love impromptu dates.
Had one last night with friends Ayin & Jhenn.
Who would have thought bastards taste so good? Hahaha!

FAT BASTARD
Bacon grease seared pork chop, mushroom sauce, bacon grease.
This comes with garlic friend rice.
with mushroom sauce
without mushroom sauce
I tried eating one before without the mushroom sauce.
Between the 2, I prefer the latter.
Don't get me wrong. The former is still yummy but it's too creamy for me.

Serving size is too big for me. Sharing is loving.

I love the way they cooked the meat.
Still juicy, cooked just right & not over-cooked.
I am no food expert. Just relied on what my tongue likes. hahaha!
By the way, my friend Lala said there's a wine called Fat Bastard. That's what enticed her to order this food before.

Jhenn had CLASSIC ANGUS BURGER.
60z of fresh hand-crafted Angus beef, dill pickle, onion, lettuce.
Php 195
excluding VAT

Ayin had SMOKED SALMON SALAD.
Romaine, arugula, capers, red onions, lemon-garlic yoghurt dressing
Php 220
excluding VAT
I don't know if this resto is related with the IRIE before near Sto Nino Village.

A band plays on Fridays & Saturdays.

I will be back to try their desserts next time. Specifically, the Herald.
The price.. hmmm.. not super affordable.
Price is just right for the quality.

Update: 5/17/2013

My friends had their dinner while I already had mine.
So, I got a sweet treat instead.

The Herald
Uber moist bittersweet chocolate cupcakes, seasoned vanilla ice cream, caramel & chocolate fudge, salted chews.
Php 200
excluding VAT
The fudge is a bit too sweet for my taste.
Tasted a little chili on that dusty-like something on the plate.
It creates a different twist on this sweet treat. I like that effect.

Shared this with my friend as the serving is quite big.
