2nd floor has 2 big rooms.

Be sure to choose the one on the right side like we did.

It has its own living room.

 

The living room itself is "sleepable". hehehe

If you want spacious & more comfortable & doesn't mind a 7-min trike ride to the town, then this place is for you.

Yeah. 7mins 'cause I timed it. :p
Beside it is a school.

We got the one with 2 double beds.
Our room was located at the ground floor of the house.

Php 1,700 w/c includes our extra mattress.

That's my super doper kulit godchild by the way. :D

Ground floor has 3 rooms & 2 common toilets.

I like this place more though it has a downside.
Not so good mobile signal in our room.
 
By the way, they do have a kitchen.
You can either cook your own food or have them cook for you for a minimum fee.

This place is so homey.
I super love their attic.
Plus the people here go an extra mile to make you feel more comfortable.
Ate Gigi made it sure we enjoyed our stay plus she even helped us with our Culion trip.

Visiting our very own Calauit Safari Park is close to being in Kruger National Park.
Oh yeah! Going to Kruger is too far-fetched for me.

James Bond Island's name is actually Khao Phing Kan.
In 1974, this island in Thailand was featured in a James Bond movie "The Man with the Golden Gun" thus, adapting the name. 

Lovepacking in KRABI Thailand

Lovepacking ... lovers go backpacking. ^_^

Krabi is a town in southern Thailand facing Andaman sea.

It has a lot of caves, towering cliffs great for climbing, limestone range, & beach.

YUGO: the Yakiniku, not the Frozen Yogurt

There are quite a lot of establishments here with the same name.
Yogo & Yogu are frozen yogurt parlors.
While this Yugo is the Yakiniku place.

Yakiniku is a Japanese word which means "grilled meat". 

Sun, Sea, Sand, & Sumilon

I noticed my travel trend this year is TAKE TWO. As in repeat performance. ^_^

This Sumilon repeat isn't bad either. 
The weather is just perfect!

Because of Survivor shoot, many were disappointed because they can't go to the islands they wish to visit.

Be thankful for whatever comes our way - may it be our triumphs or failures.

Caramoan, CamSur is a combination of EL NIDO for its limestone karsts + BORACAY for its fine white sand. Only not crowded and unexploited. 

This place came to fame after being chosen as the location for  Koh-Lanta's (Survivor in France) 8th season (2008).

And, of course, the rest is history.

Looking back at 2012

My 2012 has that bittersweet aftertaste.
Nonetheless, I am so grateful for the year that has been.

True love withstands test of time.
My Earth angels to the rescue.
Lessons learned.

I may have 2 very important travels - domestic & abroad - cancelled (bye bye 7 tickets! :p) but overall I am happy with myself.
I covered quite a lot last year.

Korean Experience in Cebu

Of all the countries I've been to (as if there were tons of it. heheh!), nothing can surpass how I terribly miss Korea.
I got loads of fantastic experiences in that country that it made me miss her more and more.
And yeah. I have yet to make a different post for that trip. :p

I am partially cured today.

History Overdose in Ilocos Sur

Calle Crisologo at daytime

Upon setting foot on the cobblestone stretch of Calle Crisologo & seeing calesa everywhere, you will definitely feel separated from the modern world.

I regretted not wearing baro't saya & bakya. Should definitely do that next time.

New establishments around adapt to this historic place.
I saw hotels &  foreign restaurants like Max's Restaurant and McDonald's did.

Yummy Ilocos Norte

Explored Ilocos Norte with my photo & food trip buddy, Khonie-chan.
We couldn't wait for more people to come with us so we opted to travel by ourselves.
Off we flew Cebu --> Manila --> Laoag.

Trike was our mode of transportation.
Negotiated 1.4k for 2 days.
Every trike has a list of places to visit so it won't be a problem if you go there with no itinerary.
Drivers knew where to take you.
We highly recommend our driver, Ronald Ramos of #23 trike.
He is the best there is in Pagudpud. :)
