From farm to table freshness at MASSAAD Barbecue

Massaad Barbecue has this mission of serving only food with farm-to-table freshness.
They are into Levantine cuisine.
It is the traditional cuisine in the Levant (or Eastern Mediterranean) region.
Composed of countries:  Cyprus, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, and part of southern Turkey.

HUMMUS
food dip or spread made from cooked chick peas mashed with sesame paste (tahina) & lemon juice topped with olive oil and whole chickpeas.

BABA GHANOUSH
Grilled eggplant, tomato, red and green pepper, parsley & garlic blended with pomegranate molasses and olive oil.

FATTOUSH
Lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, parsley, sumac, zaátar, mint leaves and crispy bread bits, tossed with pomegranate molasses, vinegar and olive oil.

HALLOUMI CHEESE
semi-hard, unripened brined cheese made from a mixture of goat's and sheep's milk, and sometimes also cow's milk. It has a high melting point and so can easily be fried or grilled.

I super love this dish.

Massaad also serves food in Tablieh (wooden boards).

SHISH TAWOUK TABLIEH
240 grams of their famous Shish Taouk (yoghurt marinated chicken) with French fries, coleslaw, hummus, pickles & garlic dip.
